On Friday I’m presenting a full day masterclass on social media marketing in JHB for the Ogilvy Digital Marketing Academy. I’m excited as it’s my first full day training for ODMA (I’ve done a few one hour sessions before.)
It’ll be a little different than other full day training sessions I’ve done, it won’t be a situation where I lecture the whole day but rather I’ll be attempting to facilitate a more interactive day of learning and discussion.
The participants are not social media n00bs so I’m hoping to make them think a little by questioning what we do on a daily basis – we’ll discuss scenarios and I’ll be encouraging everyone to put their creative hats on so that we can develop some thinking and then ‘poke holes in sh*t’ (something I love to do.)
I’ve also invited Mike Sharman to do a lunchtime guest slot on a cool case study that he was involved in.
It should be a good day, I’m looking forward to it.
